Serving West Contra Costa’s musical needs since 1970, Fiat Music Company has spent over half of a century training excellent musicians to spread joy and the effects of artistic excellence around the East Bay, the nation, and the world. Among our alumni are the likes of Billie Joe Armstrong, the lead singer of Green Day who is pictured here with our director and owner, Marie Louise St. Gaudens-Fiatarone, as well as countless professional and local hobbyist singers, instrumentalists, music teachers, and local ensemble leaders. Our motto shapes our core philosophy: that since beautiful music is the language of God, beauty and artistic excellence are blessings that make our diverse local community stronger, happier, healthier, kinder, more unified, and more fully itself.
